La colección de Ale Quesada se basó en color negro con colores muy fuertes y pasteles como se puede ver en las fotos.
Muchos suéteres como "cozies" en colores pasteles con leggins también en color pasteles.
No pudo faltar la piel como en la mayoría de las colecciones que hemos visto en el MBDFW pero con el toque especial de Ale ...
También predominó un estampado negro con fresas. (Stella McCartney?)
Las modelos llevaban unas diademas de unicornio y sí los colores me recordaron un poco como a cuando jugaba con mi colección de My Little Pony.
Vamos a ver una nueva altura de vestidos y faldas, abajo de la rodilla pero no hasta el piso.

The colors in Ale Quesada's collection were mainly black with very bright and pastel hues.
There were a lot of cozy knitted sweaters in again pastel colors with again pastel colored leggings.
As we have seen in most of the collections presented in the MBDFW leather is a must and Ale gave it her own twist...
We saw a lot of a black fabric with strawberry print. (Stella McCartney?)
The models had a unicorn headband on and yes the colors did remind me of the days when I used to play with My Little Pony collection.
We'll see new hemlines, under the knee.

Lydia es una diseñadora que apoya la cultura mexicana y la usa en sus diseños; esta temporada fue el reboso, del cual está haciendo una investigación.
Esta colección me pareció un poco más madura, es decir, no tan juvenil. Muchos trajes sastres y vestidos largos.
Los colores más usados fueron rosa, turquesa y magenta.
El vestido de novia que presentó al final me encantó; la forma de sirena, el escote en la espalda y la falda con puras flores.... encantador.
Felicidades a Lydia, es una gran mujer y ha logrado muchas cosas. (Fue mi maestra y la admiro!)
Lydia is a designer who supports mexican culture and uses it in her designs; this season she used the "reboso", of which is doing an investigation on.
This collection was more mature than her last one. A lot of suits and long dresses.
The color palette was in turquoise, pink and magenta.
The wedding dress was dreamy; mermaid tail, low back and the skirt full of flowers... lovely.
Congrats Lydis, she is a great woman and has gone so far. (She was my teacher and I admire her!)

Este desfile festejaba el décimo aniversario del diseñador.
La colección como todas los demás se basó en piel, transparencias y vestidos largos. La único sorpresa fue un terciopelo rojo quemado; todo lo demás fue negro, gris y blanco.
Su colección para hombres me gustó un poco más que la de mujeres.
El público lo recibió de pie y los modelos salieron a aplaudirle. ¡Felicidades!

The catwalk celebrated his 10th anniversary as a designer.
The collection like all of the others was basically fur, leather, see through and long dresses. The only surprise was a red burnt velvet fabric; everything else was in a black, grey and white palette.
His menswear collection was way better than the women's.
He was received with a standing ovation and his models went out to the catwalk to cheer for him. Congrats!
