Mercedes Benz DFashion Week Day 2

El ganador de Project Runway Latino América se presentó ayer en el Mercedes Benz DFashion Week con una colección fascinante.
Los prints me recordaron un poco a un estilo victoriano muy Gucci y los blazers con power shoulders a Balmain; los brocados también me ecantaron!
Claramente sigue las tendencias ya que la mayoría de sus prendas eran faux leather y aplicaciones de faux fur.
Otra vez fue una muy buena sorpresa... (nunca vi el programa)

Project Runway Latinamerica's winner presented his fascinating collection yesterday at the Mercedes BEnz DFashion Week.
The prints brought me back to like a victorian era, very Gucci I might say; the blazers with power shoulders were again very Balmain and I loved the brocades. 
He follows the faux leather and faux fur trends quite nicely. 
A great surprise yet again... (I never saw the show)

La colección que nos presentó ClaraGlez me gustó; no tomo muchos riesgos y fue muy segura sin embargo lo hizo bien.
Las telas estaban exquisitas; las blusas y vestidos de un hombro destacaron al igual que los brocados como en el desfile anterior; hubo faldas con plumas y lo que más me gustó fueron los jumpsuits (obviamente) con un escote en V y tirantes de espagueti que no son mis favoritos sin embargo hacían la ilusión de que era strapless.
Me sorprendió con su colección de vestidos de novia y la verdad solo uno me gusto, uno que parecía de 1920's flapper con un escote en la espalda muy sencillo y limpio pero elegante.
La última foto es la diseñadora que traía el look que más me gusto y el volumen de su pelo wow!

ClaraGlez collection was very safe but I think it was good and I liked it. 
The fabrics she used where exquisite; one shoulder dresses and tops; brocades yet again; feather skirts; and my all time favorites jumpsuits (obviously) with a V neckline/cleavage and spaghetti straps that almost made it strapless. 
I was surprised to see she had a bride's dress collection of which to be honest I only liked one, a 1920's inspired flapper dress with a plunging back cleavage overall very simple and clean yet sophisticated.
Oh the las picture is the designer herself who was wearing the look I most liked, and the volume in her hair wow!

Yo la verdad nunca se que esperar con estas hermanas. Su colección me pareció surrealista... Las modelos tenían la boca roja pero mal pintada y empezó la pasarela con violines como si fuera una película de Hitchcock.
Los colores no me encantaron aunque las telas brillosas, el jumpsuit y el blazer extra grande fueron la excepción.
Definitivamente no es mi estilo...

I never know what to expect with these sisters. Their collection was a bit surrealist... The models had red lipstick that was smudged, the show started with some violins a la Hitchcock.
Didn't really like the colors although I did like the shiny fabrics, the jumpsuit and the extra large blazer were the exception. 
Definitely not my style...
